GLOSSARY

1. Air ball: when you shoot a basket, it didn;t touch evrything.

2. Alley-opp: One player puts the ball in the air, another player takes the ball and shoots into the basket.

3. Arena: The place for players to play. Such as Seattle’s named Key Arena.

4. Assist: One player pass the ball to another player and he shoot the ball into to basket within 3 walks.

5. Backboard: After drop the ball, if it is not shoot into the basket, the players can get the ball.

6. Backcourt: An arena have two side for players, the side by our team it is backcourt.

7. Baseline: the boundary line of both side of the arena.

8. Block shot: like the picture, one player want to shoot the ball in, but defensive player stop him by block shot.

9. Boo: the basketball fans use boo to vent their dissatisfaction.

10. Buzzer beater: the last shoot before the end of the game.

11. Fadeaway shot: the same as fadeaway jumper.

12. Foul: one is personal foul and another is team foul.

13. Free throw: if one player foul by other player, then he can shoot without defense and shoot two times, but it is only one for one point.
